What we store about you
Your email address, the display name you give us, your picks, and which pools you're in. That's the lot — there's no payment info because money never touches the app, and no profile beyond what your pool sees.
Who sees what
People in your pool see your display name, and your picks once the event locks — before lock, picks are private to you. Your email is never shown to other players. Pool pages are unlisted links and we ask search engines not to index them.
Writing for News
If you write for News, your pen name and blurb are public by definition — that's the byline readers see. Your account name and email never appear on news pages, and nothing connects your byline to your pools unless you do it yourself.
Open pools
Joining an open pool never shows your name to strangers — other members see you as “Player {n}”. If you'd rather have a name, you can claim a public handle: a name you choose, shown instead of the player number, and yours to clear anytime from the pool page. Your account name and email stay between you and us either way.
Cookies
One cookie, and it's the one that keeps you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there's no cookie banner.
The daily games
The Streak and Career Path need no account at all. Your streaks and boards live in your own browser, and your daily picks are stored under a random id that identifies a browser, not a person — we couldn't tie one to you if we tried.
Analytics
We count page visits with self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) so we know which features get used. It's anonymous and aggregated, it runs on our own server, and it's never shared with or sold to anyone.
We send sign-in links and a few pool emails (pick reminders, final results) through Resend, our email provider. No marketing lists, no newsletters, and your address is never given to anyone else.
Deleting your data
Want your account and everything in it gone? Email hello@alldaysports.io from your sign-in address and we'll delete it. You need to be at least 13 to use AllDay Sports.
Changes
If this note changes, the date above changes with it. The rules of the road live in the terms.
